Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Spectrum Truck Services (“we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, service enquiries, advertising lead forms and related communications. We handle personal information in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable Canadian privacy laws.
Information we collect
When you contact us, request a quote or arrange service, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, vehicle year, make and model, the service requested and details about your vehicle’s condition. If you choose to send photos or other supporting information, we use them to assess and respond to your request. Service-related communications and records may also form part of your customer file.
Our website and its providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website or advertisement, and interactions with the site. Cookies and similar technologies may be used for the purposes described below. Please do not include payment card details, identification documents or unrelated sensitive information in a website enquiry.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess service needs, prepare estimates, arrange appointments, communicate about your vehicle, provide requested services and maintain related business records. We also use relevant information to operate and secure the website, prevent spam and fraud, understand website performance, measure advertising results and meet legal obligations.
When you submit a service request, you authorize us to use the details provided to respond through the contact methods you supply. This does not automatically subscribe you to promotional messages. Where we send marketing communications, we do so with the consent or other authority required by law and provide a way to unsubscribe.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Necessary cookies support website functionality and security. Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the website. Where enabled, advertising technologies, including tools from Google or Meta, may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and enquiries resulting from advertisements and, where applicable, support relevant advertising or remarketing.
The information involved may include online identifiers, page visits, referral information and actions such as submitting a form or clicking a contact link. These providers may combine it with information they hold under their own privacy policies. Advertising and analytics tools are subject to applicable consent requirements; this policy does not replace any consent required for their use.
Where a cookie notice or preference control is available, you can use it to manage optional tracking. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser, although some features may be affected. Google advertising preferences are available at My Ad Center, and Meta advertising preferences are available through your Meta account settings. These choices do not necessarily remove all advertising.
Who may receive information
We share information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Authorized staff and service providers may access it to support website hosting, form handling, email, security, business administration, analytics and advertising measurement. Our website is hosted on Squarespace, and enquiry communications may be handled through Google services. These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies.
If you submit a lead form on an advertising platform, we receive the information you choose to provide and use it to respond to your enquiry. The platform also handles information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell customer contact information. We may disclose information when required or permitted by law or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights and prevent fraud.
Detailing Sensei is a separate business at the same address. If you request its services through this website, relevant enquiry details may be shared with Detailing Sensei to respond to that request. Contact us if you have questions about how a detailing enquiry is routed.
Processing outside Canada
Our service providers may store or process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of those countries and lawful access by their authorities. You can request information about our policies and practices concerning service providers outside Canada by contacting the Privacy Contact below.
Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to address your enquiry, provide services, maintain required business records and meet legal or dispute-resolution obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, securely destroy or anonymize it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information involved and limit access to those who need it for authorized purposes. No method of internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or withdraw consent for a particular use, subject to applicable legal and contractual restrictions. Withdrawal may affect our ability to provide a service that requires the information. We may need to verify your identity before responding and will explain any applicable limits.
